A man who was arrested after a woman was hit by a car in Oldham has been released on bail, police have confirmed. The crash happened on Pitt Street in the Glodwick area at around 7.45pm on Monday night (July 29).
Emergency services raced to reports of a crash between a pedestrian and a car. A woman was rushed to hospital from the scene.

In an update issued this morning (July 31), a GMP spokesperson said he has since been released on bail pending further enquires.
