Four people were arrested after a police chase ended in a crash on a major road in Prestwich. A stretch of Bury New Road was cordoned off following the smash at around 8.30pm last night (Sunday).
It was said to have involved a Ford Transit van and two cars. The police helicopter was spotted overhead as one witness said she counted 25 police cars on the scene.
Another described an 'insane' amount of emergency vehicles. The chase ended in the crash on Bury New Road. No-one suffered any life-threatening injuries, the spokesperson added. Four people were arrested shortly after.
