Akhmed Yakoob has given his reaction to the exclusive footage shared by the Manchester Evening News on Saturday (July 28) which appears to show the violent scenes that led to a GMP officer being put under criminal investigation for assault.
It comes after a video showing an armed officer kick and stamp on the head of a man as he lay on the ground was shared widely on social media this week.
A viral clip of the incident which took place in a car park at Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport on Tuesday (July 23) sparked outrage with several protests taking place.
