The incident took place at around 8.30am at the Cerro Catedral ski resort near the city of San Carlos de Bariloche in the central Argentine province of Rio Negro, one of the largest ski resorts in South America.
Catedral Alta Patagonia, the company in charge of managing the resort, reported the patrol leader's death in a press release on their official website.The company confirmed that a patrol team was inspecting the resort ahead.
