Kate Garraway’s interview on today’s This Morning, Thursday 24 February, was disrupted by what appeared to sound like a static issue.
The Good Morning Britain host was discussing her new and emotional documentary about her husband Derek Draper’s ongoing battle with long Covid.
The doting wife also touched upon her recent trip to Mexico with him, where they travelled 11,000 miles for his treatment. Kate said: “[The trip] came at a really low point, but I thought, God, this is not sustainable.
I don’t believe we can have 24 hour care forever. You know, there’s a point where money runs out." She went on: “If there isn’t the structure there to help long term, what are we actually going to do?
