Shane Warne sent out his support for Ukraine just days before his tragic death from a suspected heart attack on Friday. The Australian was quick to tweet out words of support for Ukraine, who were invaded in late February on the orders of war monster Vladimir Putin.

Warne took to Twitter to say: "The entire world is with the people of Ukraine as they suffer an unprovoked and unjustified attack by Russian military forces."The pictures are horrific, and I can’t believe more is not being done to stop this."Sending lots of love to my Ukrainian mate @jksheva7 (Andriy Shevchenko) and his family."Shevchenko has also asked for peace in his native country when he appeared on TV ahead of the Milan derby.The Ukrainian star said: "Dear Italian friends, I ask you from San Siro to give your support for peace in Ukraine."The Ukrainian people want peace."Because peace has no borders, because what unites us must be stronger than which divides us."
