Real Madrid have confirmed the departure of long-serving defender and captain Sergio Ramos.A club statement read: "Real Madrid CF announces that tomorrow, Thursday, June 17, at 12:30 pm, there will be an institutional act of tribute and farewell to our captain Sergio Ramos, with the presence of our president Florentino Pérez."Next, Sergio Ramos will appear before the media at a telematic press conference.Ramos joined Real Madrid from Sevilla in 2005 and has made 671 appearances and scored an incredible 101 goals in a hugely successful 16-year spell at the Bernabeu.
The 35-year-old leaves having won five La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey trophies, four Champions League titles and four Club World Cups.
