Scottish football shut down until the end of April as joint response group queries 'ambitious' UEFA plan

The SPFL and SFA have announced Scottish football will not resume until April 30 at the earliest.The move comes after the English Premier League chose the same date on Thursday as the coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak havoc globally,And the the joint response group, chaired by Neil Doncaster and Ian Maxwell  have urged for clarity from the government as they outlined plans to begin the 2020-21 season "soon as is practicably possible".The statement read: "It has become clear that in the midst of the coronavirus [COVID-19] pandemic, Scottish football would welcome as much clarity as possible on the earliest date football resume in Scotland."Clubs need to be able to make informed decisions regarding training and work schedules, as well
