Queen of the South’s game with Ayr United has been scrapped because of the coronavirus.The SPFL and SFA held an emergency meeting this morning and have decided that all domestic professional and grassroots football has been suspended indefinitely.Tonight’s fixture at Palmerston along with Motherwell and Aberdeen’s Premiership clash are the first casualties of the decision.The SFA and SPFL made its decision in the interest of the health of the public, players and officials.Ian Maxwell, Scottish FA Chief Executive: “Since the guidance outlined by governments last night we have been engaged in extensive dialogue to clarify the position and implications of that guidance for Scottish football.“Today’s announcement is made in the interests of
