pub boss has blasted "drunken young fools" who forced him to close early by threatening staff and refusing to social distance.
The long-time owner of the Ship Inn in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, said louts who descended on the coastal town's harbour with carry-outs during good weather on Friday caused chaos and spoiled the occasion for others.
In a statement posted on the pub's page on Saturday, Simon Cruickshank - who has run the popular bar and hotel for 16 years - said he was reporting the culprits to police.
He said: "Several of my staff who were on last night have worked at the Shop since my first days here and all of them said that they'd never experienced anything like it."Drunken young fools - drunk before they got here and drinking.
