A Scots primary school has been closed amid faers over coronavirus . Merkland School, in Kirkintilloch , East Dunbartonshire, was closed to pupils on Wednesday morning after someone who visited the building was told to self-isolate over the illness.
Staff at the school say they made the decision to close it for the day as a ‘precaution’, reports Glasgow Live . The school, which supports young people with additional needs, is currently undergoing a deep clean and is due to reopen tomorrow.
