Schoolboy diagnosed with brain tumour the size of a ping pong ball after complaining he couldn't hear in class

direct to your inbox A schoolboy was diagnosed with an advanced form of brain cancer during a routine hearing test after teachers were concerned about him struggling to hear in lessons.

Joshua Cobb, from Blackpool, Lancashire, was just 13 when he was referred to a clinic for tests. But following an appointment with specialists to confirm a diagnosis of an auditory processing disorder, an MRI revealed the teen had a huge cancerous tumour growing in his brain.

A cancerous tumour, the size of a ping pong ball, was sat in the central flow cavity of Joshua’s brain, positioned directly behind his eyes, reports Lancs Live.
