Saoirse Ronan has swapped the world of cameras and on-screen for the spotlight of the stage as she is now starring in a William Shakespeare theatre production.
However, prior to her theatre debut in the UK starring in The Tragedy of Macbeth, the Irish actress admitted that she was ‘incredibly nervous’ about appearing on the London stage.
Mare of Easttown actor James McCardle is also starring alongside the four-time Oscar nominee as they tread the boards at Islington’s Almeida Theatre.
Saoirse’s foray into theatre has been something completely different for her and she revealed that the ‘butterflies’ had set in during rehearsals for the highly anticipated production.
