Hosts Dan Walker and Sally Nugent were presenting from the famous red sofa on Tuesday (April 26) and discussing the recent misogyny controversy regarding an article written about Labour MP Angela Rayner.

BBC Breakfast viewers were surprised to see Naga Munchetty missing from the latest instalment of the beloved news morning show after the broadcaster was noticeably absent from the show all week.On Saturday (April 9), Rachel Burden woke up the nation alongside regular host Charlie Stayt on the red sofa as they discussed the latest headlines in the news this weekend.The 59-year-old presenter usually hosts the morning programme with the brunette beauty from Thursday to Saturday.Dan Walker and Sally Nugent host the Breakfast show from Monday to Wednesday, while Sunday morning’s show is hosted by a slew of different broadcasters on rotation.Although, the TV presenter is yet to explain her absence from the early morning show, Naga was quick to share her exciting nomination for a Radio Times Moment Of The Year award on social media.The news reader revealed how her Radio 5 Live show had been nominated for the award for an episode of her show where she discussed how she recalled one of her “most traumatic experiences” with her loyal listeners.Last June, she opened up about having the contraceptive coil fitted, confessing how she had fainted twice from the pain of procedure on air. During the show, she recalled: "My screams were so loud that my husband tried to find out what room I was in to make it stop." She went on to say: "We all know that coils are safe and effective and lots of women have no problem at all with them but like all medical procedures, there's a vast range of experiences." The star - who has been married to husband James Haggar since 2004 - opened up about her further problems with the child when the contraceptive device was removed just one year later.

BBC star showed off her fiery auburn locks after ditching her long tresses as the former Strictly Come Dancing winner posed up a storm in her bedroom. She slumped against her white leather sofas as she showed off her new do wearing a white crop top which she tucked into a pair of dark denim wide leg jeans to show off her vibrant new look.Stacey accessorised the casual chic ensemble with a simple gold bracelet and matching anklet which complimented the golden sunset tones in her freshly dyed hair.The star also showcased her perfectly manicured acrylic nails which she styled with a simple black polish that she matched with her pedicure.She went on to share some of the behind-the-scenes snaps from her makeover as Stacey ditched her long locks for her new edgy bob.The starlet revealed her new shade was part of her collaboration with hair stylist company Clairol as she captioned the memorable snap: “Me and @clairol_uk_ire have been BUSY.“We freshened up my colour (obvs using my shade 8WR golden auburn).
