An airline has launched new routes to the US and the Caribbean from Manchester Airport as international travel picks up again.
Aer Lingus has teamed up with British Airways Holidays to provide package holidays to Barbados, Orlando and New York, flying directly from Manchester Airport.
Many holidaymakers will be looking to take advantage of eased travel restrictions, with the Government’s red list narrowed down to just seven counties.
While double-jabbed travellers no longer need to take a pre-departure coronavirus test before arrival in England, and from October 24 fully vaccinated passengers and most under 18s arriving from non-red list countries can take a lateral flow test instead of a PCR test on day 2 of their arrival in the UK.
