One WAG married to a former Manchester United player has come out to say that the high life isn’t as rosy as some might believe.Danielle Gibson, who came from humble beginnings in Wythenshawe, Manchester, has spoken about her married life to former Red Devils midfielder Darren Gibson, 34, saying that her glamorous life in Cheshire wasn’t all that it was cracked up to be.Danielle spoke candidly about inspiring women on International Women's Day in Manchester, talking to a large audience at the event organised by Julie Perry Events. "I felt like I didn’t have a right to complain," she said, as per Manchester Evening News. "I didn't have a right to moan because I lived in a big house in Bowdon, my kids go to private school, so I didn't say anything to anybody, I just carried on.
I felt like I couldn't tell anyone how difficult it was because I was rich, and rich people aren't supposed to have problems."She continued: "At 24 he signed for Everton on a massive contract with massive money, and it felt like at times he was paying for half of Ireland.
He was paying for people’s car insurances, people's mortgages, people's rent, everything, the list didn't stop, the phone was non-stop all the time - this was all OK because we were loaded right?
Until he got injured."Danielle’s husband went from winning Manchester United's youth player of the year to progressing to the first-team and being on the verge of a breakthrough.
