Sabrina Carpenter has released her new single Skinny Dipping. The follow-up to Skin - which became the former Disney star's first-ever charting appearance on the Official Singles Chart earlier this year - has been co-written by hitmaker Julia Michaels and JP Saxe.
Due for inclusion on Sabrina's forthcoming first album with Island Records (which is coming "soon" according to an official statement), Skinny Dipping moves away from the more synth-driven production of Skin, instead flirting with an alt-rock acoustic beat that recalls the sound of early-00s singer-songwriters like Avril Lavigne and Michelle Branch.
