Russian troops discussing the horrific massacre in Bucha, Ukraine. National intelligence agency BND told the German parliament on Wednesday (April 6) that they had accessed conversations between members of Vladimir Putin's armed forces in Ukraine, according to Der Spiegel magazine.In the statement they reportedly said that some of the communications matched with known deaths.
In one of the intercepted calls, a soldier reportedly discusses shooting someone off their bicycle, corresponding with a photograph of someone lying next to a bike.In another one Russian fighter is said to confess to shooting people after interrogation.Der Spiegel reports that hired mercenaries from the Wagner group had been involved in the killings at Bucha, which saw hundreds of Ukrainian civilians killed as Russian troops retreated.
An anonymous security source said that the radio signal could not be 100% confirmed as being from the town yet, saying: "It's true that the [German] federal government has indications of Russian perpetration in Bucha."However, these findings on Bucha refer to satellite images.
The radio transmissions cannot be clearly assigned to Bucha."The BND has not yet made any public statements regarding the findings.
