A pub landlord was caught serving pints in lockdown 40 minutes after police warned him to stop - but the boozer has avoided a lengthy closure.

A council licensing committee chose to allow the Santa Clara Inn pub in St Clears, Carmarthenshire, southeast Wales, to remain open and refrained from banning gaffer Richard Pearce.
