An anti-fascist protester suspected of killing a Trump supporter last weekend has been shot dead by police during an attempted arrest.
Michael Reinoehl, 48, wanted on a murder charge, died in Olympia, Washington, after he left an apartment building and got in a car around 7.30pm on Thursday night.
He was armed with a handgun when members of a US Marshals Service fugitive task force shot him dead, the Marshals Service and the Thurston County Sheriff's Office said. "Reinoehl was allegedly involved in an August 29 shooting incident in Portland, Oregon, that resulted in a death," US Marshals said.
