The Head of Armed Policing in Scotland has been accused of "sending the wrong message" to female recruits after it emerged he publicly follows a range of porn accounts on Twitter.

Superintendent Tony Beveridge admitted his social media use was "not appropriate" after it was discovered he was following a string of porn accounts on his public Twitter account, Daily Record reports.
