police probe has been launched after several racing pigeon coops were targeted by thieves in West Dunbartonshire. Ten prize Belgian pigeons were pinched from a loft in Hawthorn Way, Dumbarton, overnight between June 10 and 11.
Just days later, a second coop was raided in Millburn Crescent where around 30kg of bird food was taken. The vandals then damaged a second shelter at the property and released or stole 20 birds overnight between June 15 and 16.A further eight racing pigeons were taken from a loft in Alexander Street, Alexandria, on the same night.
