The new track is being released in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity and Brainstrust, and was the idea of seven year old Ravi Adelekan – son of Metronomy bassist Olugbenga Adelekan – who was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year.Ravi’s illness was initially diagnosed as a build up of ear wax but, when an ear, nose and throat specialist requested an MRI scan, a tumour was discovered on his brain stem.

Katcy Stephan A long-gestating reboot of the “Naked Gun” franchise with Liam Neeson is finally moving forward at Paramount, landing a release date of July 15, 2025. The currently-untitled project will be directed and executive produced by Avika Schaffer, who co-wrote the draft script alongside Dan Gregor and Doug Mand. Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins are producing via their company Fuzzy Door.

The acclaimed Australian filmmaker, who is best known for directing the musical featuring Hugh Jackman, was rumoured to have been hired to helm the supermarket chain’s festive commercial, with an insider spilling that it will ‘tug at people’s heartstrings. ’A source had shared: ‘Michael has some magical ideas for the Sainsbury’sadvert.

Naman Ramachandran Singer Robbie Williams is “sure” that there will be a second reunion of Take That, the band he was formerly with. In an interview with The Sunday Times, the singer said that the reunion would depend on how his former band members receive “Better Man,” a biopic on Williams being made by “The Greatest Showman” director Michael Gracey. Take That was formed in 1990 with band members including Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Williams. In 1995, Williams left the band for a solo career. In 1996, Take That disbanded. In 2006, Take That regrouped, without Williams. And in 2010, Williams rejoined the band for smash hit album “Progress.” In 2011, Williams left the band again, amicably.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter The “History of a Pleasure Seeker” pilot is not moving forward and will not be be picked up to series at Hulu, Variety has learned exclusively. The show was first ordered to pilot at the streaming service back in March 2022. It was based on the Richard Mason novel of the same name. Per the official logline, the show was a musical drama “set in Amsterdam in 1907, a tale of a charismatic young man’s explosive adventures through all the temptations of the Belle Époque.” The cast for the pilot included Carla Woodcock, Callum Kerr, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Olumide Olorunfemi, and Bebe Bettencourt. “History of a Pleasure Seeker” was based on the Richard Mason novel of the same name. Mason adapted the novel for the screen and also served as an executive producer. Julie Anne Robinson directed and executive produced the pilot. Christopher Read executive produced in addition to serving as composer. Fremantle executive produced along with Jimmy Mulville of Hat Trick Productions and Michael Gracey. ABC Signature was the studio behind the pilot.

Robbie Williams is reportedly set to appear in a new documentary about his life and career.The film, which will be a television documentary, is reportedly being made by the same production company behind Liam Gallagher’s 2019 film, As It Was, and has been in the works for several months.As reported in The Sun, a source close to the project said: “Robbie is one of the most entertaining men in music and the documentary will be hilarious and heart-felt in equal measure. He has been through a hell of a lot and battled lots of demons in his personal life.“But he’s also had an incredible career in music, started a family, and racked up plenty of celebrity anecdotes, so there will be loads to talk about in the documentary.”Williams last did a fly-on-the-wall documentary about his life almost 20 years ago.Williams is also set to appear in a new biopic about his life, Better Man, which is directed by The Greatest Showman director Michael Gracey. Speaking about the project to Deadline previously, Gracey said: “As for how we represent Robbie in the film, that bit is top secret.

Hulu pilot History Of A Pleasure Seeker continues to add to its cast.

Joe Otterson TV ReporterThe Hulu musical drama pilot “History of a Pleasure Seeker” has added Olumide Olorunfemi and Bebe Bettencourt to its cast, Variety has learned.The pair join previously announced cast members Carla Woodcock and Callum Kerr in the pilot, which is based on the Richard Mason novel of the same name.“History of a Pleasure Seeker” is set in Amsterdam in 1907 and tells the tale of a charismatic young man’s explosive adventures through all the temptations of the Belle Époque.Olorunfemi will play Sisanda, a Xhosa woman raised in South Africa’s Eastern Cape. She’s used to being the most admired young lady in her village. She did not imagine she’d spend her life cleaning other people’s floors.

Kerr will play Piet, tutor to a very troubled child and an extreme empath, with the confidence to back himself against the odds.
