Piers Morgan makes cheeky dig at Good Morning Britain a year after storming off show

Piers Morgan has made a cheeky dig towards his old Good Morning Britain role, saying that he has no regrets in storming off set.

This comes a year on from his famous TV exit from the GMB studios after his row with Alex Beresford regarding his attitude towards Meghan Markle.

The TV star shared a snap of him walking out of the studios on Instagram on Wednesday (March 9) and wrote alongside it: "A year ago today, I went for a little stroll… and in the words of Edith Piaf, je ne regrette rien! #LongWalkToFreedomOfSpeech."The French saying roughly translates "no, I do not regret anything," meaning Piers was happy to throw in a cheeky dig at his old job to fans online.Friends, fans and family flooded the comments with support, with many claiming they no longer watch the show anymore since his departure.Piers' son Spencer Morgan commented: "The moment morning TV died."While one fan said: "Although I still watch the show, it really isn’t the same…"Another wrote: "Leadership at its best!
