Rangers have one of the best top-flight defensive records in Clement’s six months at Ibrox. But they conceded three times at home last weekend in the derby thriller with title rivals Celtic.And that miserly touch disappeared again yesterday in 22 mad minutes that cost them dearly in Dingwall, as they went from 1-0 up to 3-1 down.
Rangers did rally through a late James Tavernier penalty but the damage was done. Now it remains to be seen how costly this slip-up will be with Celtic now back in the Premiership’s pole position.
Clement admitted: “Yeah of course but it doesn’t matter how fast the lead was lost, there were too many mistakes made in our defensive part which is not usual from our team.“Since we’ve been together we’ve been the team who conceded the least goals in this five/six months.
