According to the Met Office, sunny spells are forecast in Greater Manchester throughout Thursday amid some cloud. Temperatures will climb to around 20C later this afternoon, making it hotter than the average 18C in Ibiza today.
Forecasters predict it will remain warm into the evening in our region with the mercury still being at 18C at around 7pm tonight. After a cloudy start to the morning, heavy rain showers are predicted in the afternoon. The downpours are expected to persist into the evening.
