Several players in the current United squad may also be about to play their last minutes at Old Trafford, with Erik ten Hag himself not assured of a future at the stadium.

Lisandro Martinez and Rasmus Hojlund are the exception to the rule when it comes to the Dutchman’s underwhelming signings. One of the most questionable is Fiorentina loanee Sofyan Amrabat, who has barely played 45 minutes in the Premier League since Christmas.

Ten Hag vehemently chased the Moroccan last summer and managed to get a deal over the line on deadline day.
