Erik ten Hag has reiterated Manchester United want to keep Bruno Fernandes despite uncertainty over his future. Fernandes is generating interest from Inter Milan and Bayern Munich while some United teammates are unsure if he will remain at the club next season.

After United's 3-2 victory over Newcastle, Fernandes said, "I will be here till when the club wants me and the club wants me to be a part of the future.

"You see he always gives his best, he is an example, even through injuries he is always playing, he loves football, he wants to win and that's how I describe his character and I'm very pleased with his performances across the season. "It's not easy when so many players are injured around him every time and he has to carry the team and for him he keeps a good level, I would even say a high level, especially in the spring, he rose to a brilliant level and I'm very pleased with this." United won only their third Premier League game in their past 12 as goals from Kobbie Mainoo, Amad and substitute Rasmus Hojlund took them to level on points with Newcastle.
