Perth and Kinross GPs 'under the cosh' after surge in case numbers

Perth and Kinross GP surgeries are seeing a surge in cases not seen before. Patients who have been storing up health issues, awaiting surgery and suffering mental health problems during the COVID pandemic are now turning in their droves to health centres for help.

Associated medical director Dr Hamish Dougall was providing an update to the Perth and Kinross Integration Joint Board on the Primary Care Improvement Plan.
