Prime Video’s Tribunal Justice is on track for a September 8 launch in U.S. broadcast syndication. The court show’s distributor, Scott Koondel‘s Sox Entertainment, has closed multi-year deals in TV markets covering nearly 95% of the country. That includes pacts with major broadcast groups including Nexstar, Gray, Sinclair, Tegna, Hearst, Sunbeam, Cox Media, Scripps, Weigel, Mission, News Press and Marquee.

Matt Minton mminton@variety.com The premiere date for “School Spirits” Season 2 is set for Thursday, Jan. 30, with the first three episodes releasing on Paramount+. The new season of “School Spirits” kicks off after the first season’s cliffhanger, following Maddie Nears (Peyton List), who is still stuck in the afterlife, as she tries to win over Simon (Kristian Ventura) to help search for her missing body.

EXCLUSIVE: Industry creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay have signed a new three-year overall exclusive TV deal with HBO that begins in January 2025. They are currently under an overall deal with HBO through the end of 2024.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter The final two episodes of “Industry” Season 3 are shifting timeslots — at least on linear. Episodes seven and eight of the third season of “Industry” will still be available at the usual 9 p.m. ET to stream on Max on Sunday, Sept.

The BBC has announced the return of popular series Industry, with the third season set to air on Tuesday, 1 October. All eight episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer from 6am.

The official synopsis of Season 3 reads: “As Pierpoint looks to the future and takes a big bet on ethical investing, Yasmin (Marisa Abela), Robert (Harry Lawtey) and Eric (Ken Leung) find themselves front and center in the splashy IPO of Lumi, a green tech energy company led by Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington), in a story that runs all the way to the very top of finance, media and government. Since leaving Pierpoint, Harper (Myha’la) is eager to get back into the addictive thrill of finance and finds an unlikely partner in FutureDawn portfolio manager Petra Koenig (Sarah Goldberg).” Returning cast members include Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Ken Leung, Conor MacNeill, Sagar Radia, Indy Lewis, Adam Levy, Sarah Parish, Trevor White, Elena Saurel and Irfan Shamji.

EXCLUSIVE: Amazon Freevee has ordered a second season of Tribunal Justice, created and executive produced by Judge Judy Sheindlin. The renewal comes ahead of the December 1 Season 1 finale of the the courtroom program, part of the Justice brand on Freevee anchored by Sheindlin’s other courtroom show for the streamer, the Daytime Emmy-winning Judy Justice, which has been renewed through Season 4. Both programs are distributed by by Scott Koondel’s Sox Entertainment.

Scott Koondel will also serve as an executive producer.The three judges are: Judge Patricia DiMango, a former New York State Supreme Court Justice and Administrative Judge of the New York State Supreme Court, Criminal Term, Kings County; Judge Tanya Acker, a Yale Law School graduate, experienced civil litigator, former Judge Pro Tem in Los Angeles County Superior Court; and Adam Levy, former Putnam County, New York District Attorney, and an instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and New York Prosecutors Training Institute.

EXCLUSIVE: Judith Sheindlin is expanding her footprint at Amazon Freevee (fka IMDb TV) with a second court program to join Judy Justice. Amazon’s free, ad-supported streaming service has given a series order to Tribunal, a panel-based show starring two of the judges on Sheindlin’s CBS Media Ventures panel court program Hot Bench, Patricia DiMango and Tanya Acker, as well as Sheindlin’s son, former District Attorney Adam Levy.
