Joe Otterson TV Reporter Glen Powell is nearly unrecognizable in the first look at his upcoming Hulu series “Chad Powers.” The show was ordered to series at the streamer back in February. Powell will star in the series in addition to co-creating and co-writing the pilot with Michael Waldron, with both serving as executive producers. The show is based on the Chad Powers character created by Eli Manning for his EPSN+ docuseries “Eli’s Places.” The official description for the series states, “When bad behavior nukes hotshot QB Russ Holliday’s (Powell) college career, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers.” Along with Powell, the series will also star Steve Zahn, Toby Huss, Perry Mattfeld, Wynn Everett, Frankie A.

Arjona is now the second confirmed cast member in the series, alongside the previously announced Richard Jenkins. “Criminal” is based on the graphic novels of the same name by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips.
