Jack Dunn Hulu has released the first teaser trailer for its new half-hour sports comedy “Chad Powers” starring Glen Powell, who also serves as co-creator with Michael Waldron. Executive produced by Super Bowl Champion Peyton Manning through his Omaha Productions banner, the series is set to premiere in Fall 2025. The show follows Powell as Russ Holliday, a once NFL-bound college quarterback who tanks his career after some behavioral misconduct.

Variety has learned that Clayne Crawford, Toby Huss, Colton Ryan, and Xavier Mills have all joined the series, in which Powell will play the title role in addition to co-creating it. The cast also includes Perry Mattfeld as Ricky, Quentin Plair as Coach Byrd, Wynn Everett as Tricia, Frankie A.

The Hulu half-hour comedy series Chad Powers has added Clayne Crawford (The Finestkind), Xavier Mills (Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire), Colton Ryan (Poker Face) and Toby Huss (Fatal Attraction) to its recurring cast.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Glen Powell is nearly unrecognizable in the first look at his upcoming Hulu series “Chad Powers.” The show was ordered to series at the streamer back in February. Powell will star in the series in addition to co-creating and co-writing the pilot with Michael Waldron, with both serving as executive producers. The show is based on the Chad Powers character created by Eli Manning for his EPSN+ docuseries “Eli’s Places.” The official description for the series states, “When bad behavior nukes hotshot QB Russ Holliday’s (Powell) college career, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers.” Along with Powell, the series will also star Steve Zahn, Toby Huss, Perry Mattfeld, Wynn Everett, Frankie A.
