Quentin Plair & Wynn Everett Join ‘Chad Powers’ Hulu Comedy Series
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Quentin Plair (Apples Never Fall) and Wynn Everett (Ordinary Joe) are set as series regulars opposite Glen Powell in Chad Powers, Hulu‘s upcoming half-hour comedy series based on an Eli Manning sketch that aired on ESPN+.
In addition to Powell, Plair and Everett join previously announced Perry Mattfeld as Ricky, Frankie A. Rodriguez as Danny and Steve Zahn as Jake Hudson.
In the series, co-created and executive produced by Powell and Michael Waldron, when bad behavior nukes hotshot QB Russ Holliday’s (Powell) college career, he disguises himself and walks onto a struggling Southern football team as the talented, affable Chad Powers.
Plair will play Coach Byrd and Everett will portray Tricia. Manning serves as executive producer along with Omaha Productions’ Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown and ESPN.
