‘Making The Band’ contestant sues Diddy for sexual harassment in new $60 million lawsuit
Making the Band contestant Sara Rivers has filed a $60 million lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging the disgraced rap mogul sexually harassed her and stroked her breasts during filming of the reality show.In a complaint filed on Friday (February 28), R&B singer Rivers claimed that after she refused Combs’ alleged sexual advances, he blackballed her from the music industry. She joined more than a dozen other plaintiffs who filed separate claims against the rapper yesterday, ahead of the two-year lookback window closing for good on otherwise expired claims under the New York City statute known as the Gender Motivated Violence Act.Per Rolling Stone, Da Band singer Rivers, who went by Sara Stokes on the show, alleged Combs controlled her sleep, belittled her eating disorder, yelled at her and forced her to do manual labour, including an incident where he allegedly forced Rivers and her bandmates to walk from Manhattan to Brooklyn – a distance of roughly eight miles on foot – and back to bring him cheesecake.Aside from the “inhumane” working conditions the suit mentioned, Rivers also alleged she was sexually harassed by Combs, citing a humiliating moment where the music exec was said to have inspected her backside and told her “everything needed to get firmed up.”Another alleged encounter the suit named as battery sees Rivers claim that Diddy had cornered her in his recording studio, blocked her with his right arm and asked if she needed anything “in a low, sensual voice”. She goes on to allege Combs “ran his left hand across her breasts while repeating the phrase if she needs anything to let him know”.

Priscilla Presley wins round in elder abuse lawsuit against old business associates
Priscilla Presley has won the first round in an elder abuse lawsuit she filed against her old business associates. On Thursday (April 3), a Los Angeles County judge sided with the former wife of Elvis Presley and ruled that California was the best venue to hear the lawsuit, which claims her ex-associates had conned her out of over $1million.The complaint, filed last July, accused Florida-based memorabilia auctioneer Brigitte Kruse as well as Kevin Fialko, Vahe Sislyan and Lynn Walker Wright of crookedly convincing her to give them power over her and then abusing that control in efforts to steal her money. The case will now proceed with its next hearing in a few weeks.Per Rolling Stone, Judge Mark H. Epstein dismissed the argument by Kruse, Kruse’s husband, and Fialko, who said that Presley’s elder abuse claims against them should be placed on hold while they pursue a separate breach of contract lawsuit against her in Florida. The defendants argued that fighting a lawsuit in California while simultaneously pursuing their previously filed claims against Presley in Florida would be “extraordinarily inconvenient.”Epstein said he considered the argument, “yet another in what seems to be a never-ending series of motions … to move this case out of California and into Florida.” He also rebuffed the claim that Presley signed contracts that agreed to litigate disputes in Florida.“This is not really a contract-based case at its heart; it is a fraud case,” Epstein wrote in his ruling.

Nicki Minaj is being sued by a former employee after she allegedly “open-handedly struck” him
Nicki Minaj is facing a lawsuit from a former employee who claims the rapper smacked him in the face at a Detroit concert last year.A 10-page complaint was filed in Los Angeles yesterday (January 3), in which Minaj and her company Pink Personality were named as lead defendants in the suit, with claims including assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.Per Rolling Stone, plaintiff Brandon Jovan Garrett claimed he was working for Minaj as a “day-to-day manager” when her head of security summoned him to a meeting at her dressing room in the Little Caesars Arena on April 21, 2024.Garrett alleges Minaj was upset at the time, and that her stress about the state of her staff turned into “rage” after one employee used picking up her prescriptions as an example of his good performance.According to the suit, Minaj was frustrated that Garrett had assigned the task to the other employee. Garrett says he tried to reason with the ‘Super Bass’ singer and remind her she wanted the prescription picked up “immediately,” and that he had no choice but to delegate as he was busy assisting Minaj in her quick-change room ahead of the show.“Are you fucking crazy having him pick up my prescription?” she allegedly screamed at Garrett.
