Crowded House announce ‘Gravity Stairs’ 2024 UK arena tour

Crowded House have announced a 12-date UK and European tour to take place this autumn – check out the full list of shows below.The Australian band released their eighth studio album ‘Gravity Stairs’ on May 31, and the upcoming tour will take the same name.The tour will kick off at Manchester’s Co-Op Live on October 8, and will take in Glasgow, London, Brighton, Dublin and Bournemouth, before a show in Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on October 17.Tickets for the UK shows go on sale at 9am BST this Friday (June 21) – you’ll be able to buy yours here.The Gravity Stairs Tour continues. New UK & Europe dates added for October 2024! Tickets on sale Friday 21 June at 9 am local time, except for Dublin at 10 am.

U2 wrapped up their residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere last night (March 2) by playing alongside Daniel Lanois and a pre-recorded Neil Finn.Lanois, who co-produced the band’s classic albums ‘The Joshua Tree’ and ‘Achtung Baby’, joined them on stage to play the latter record’s ‘One’.Additionally, U2 played a version of Crowded House’s ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’, a song they have been covering at recent shows. Crowded House announce rescheduled North America tour dates

Crowded House have shared details for the rescheduled North American leg of their ‘Dreamers Are Waiting’ tour, now set to commence in 2023.Kicking off in Canada at Vancouver’s Orpheum, Crowded House will then undertake a further 17 shows throughout the month, including two back-to-back performances at Los Angeles’ Wiltern. Find all dates below.The North American leg was originally due to commence in Philadelphia last month, but was postponed after drummer Elroy Finn sustained a “painful” injury to his lower back.At the time, frontman Neil Finn said: “We are advised that there may be some risk in the recovery process for him to play shows at this time. The good health and future well-being of the band members has to be our priority.”Tickets for original show dates remain valid for the new run.

Crowded House have postponed their US tour due to an injury sustained by drummer Elroy Finn.The North American leg of the band’s Dreamers Are Waiting Tour was expected to kick off in Philadelphia next week, with additional shows planned for New York City, Washington DC and Los Angeles, among others.However, Crowded House frontman Neil Finn revealed yesterday (August 25) that those stops would be delayed following a “painful” injury to Elroy’s lower back.“We are advised that there may be some risk in the recovery process for him to play shows at this time,” Finn’s message read. “The good health and future well-being of the band members has to be our priority”.Crowded House are disappointed to announce that we must postpone our upcoming North American tour.

Crowded House release Tame Impala remix of ‘To The Island’

Crowded House has shared a new version of their latest single ‘To The Island’, remixed by Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker.True to form, Parker’s remix adds a thick layer of psychedelia to the single, warping its vocals and introducing a range of synth sounds.“With all the world upended and nothing in its right place we became curious to hear how our favourite contemporary musicians and record makers might reimagine a Crowded House song,” Neil Finn said in a statement.“I emailed our version of To The Island to Kevin Parker (Tame Impala) with an invitation to take it apart and reassemble in his own unique way.
