When WIF CEO Kirsten Schaffer invited dozens of honorees to join her on the stage, they crammed in, shoulder-to-shoulder on the tiny platform at L.A.’s Catch Steak.

The 2024 Academy Awards performers have been revealed…and yes, Ryan Gosling is performing “I’m Just Ken” from the hit film Barbie!

It’s a pretty stacked field for the Best Song Academy Award this year, and the Oscarcast producers today set the performers who’ll be bringing the nominated tunes to the stage.

The Songwriters Hall of Fame announced today that Diane Warren will be the 2024 recipient of the Johnny Mercer Award at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Gala in June.

The Johnny Mercer Award, the Hall’s highest honor, is reserved for a songwriter or songwriting team who has already been inducted in a prior year and whose body of work is of such high quality and impact that it upholds the gold standard set by the legendary Johnny Mercer.
