Thania Garcia UTA has signed seven-time-Grammy and Academy Award-winning artist Jon Batiste for representation in all areas. He is set to perform the National Anthem at the 2025Super Bowl LIX pregame in his hometown of New Orleans on Feb. 9 at the Caesars Superdome.

Jon Burlingame Two songs from “Barbie” have been nominated as best song, part of a diverse collection of songs and scores nominated for the 96th annual Academy Awards. “What Was I Made For?” by Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell, and “I’m Just Ken,” by Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, were chosen by the 390 voting members of the Academy music branch.

Its main subject, “Soul” Oscar winner Jon Batiste, will now be in the race for best original song with the track “It Never Went Away.” Batiste sings the emotional number, which he co-wrote with Grammy-winning songwriter and producer Dan Wilson.
