The 2024 Academy Awards nominations for Best Original Score and Best Original Song have been announced. The 96th Academy Awards ceremony will take place on March 10 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Billie Eilish has earned her second Academy Award nomination, with "What Was I Made For" from Barbie up for Best Original Song.

She is joined by Ryan Gosling for his contribution to the Barbie soundtrack, "I'm Just Ken." Also nominated are Diane Warren and Becky G for "The Fire Inside" (Flamin' Hot), Jon Batiste's "It Never Went Away" (American Symphony), and "Wahzhazhe (A Song for My People" by Osage Tribal Singers (Killers of the Flower Moon).
