A paediatrician told an inquest he was ‘truly sorry’ for missing vital signs that a toddler was being abused - saying his assessment at the time was 'anchored on the belief' that she was suffering from an unknown medical condition.
22-month-old Ella-Rose Clover, from Wythenshawe, died after being subjected to a fatal attack by Michael Wild, her godmother’s boyfriend.
