Paul Merson says Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got his Manchester United team selection "horribly wrong" in the defeat by Sheffield United - and believes it could cost them the title.
The title-chasing Red Devils were on the end of one of the biggest shocks in a surprise-packed campaign as the embattled Blades inflicted the hosts' first top-flight defeat since November 1.
Solskjaer opted to make six changes from the side which defeated Liverpool, the reigning Premier League champions, in the FA Cup three days earlier.
Among those left on the bench were Luke Shaw and Edinson Cavani, both of whom have enjoyed impressive seasons for the Old Trafford giants.
