The glove is reported to have been found on February 7, the publication claimed. A now-deleted TikTok shared the discovery, with the sharer saying that the covering of the glove was stained. It is not known what the glove was stained with.
The news comes as the search for the missing mum continues to frustrate investigators. Police have continued to push forward with the theory that she was swept off in the river Wyre.
