New Queen Camilla wax figure unveiled by Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds has unveiled a new wax work of soon-to-be Queen Camilla, ahead of the King's Coronation this May. Camilla, who will take on the title of Queen on Saturday May 6, will stand alongside her husband in the London attraction's new The Royal Palace experience.

Royal family fans can also see figures of The Prince and Princess of Wales, the late Queen Elizabeth II and The Duke of Edinburgh.

The lifelike Camilla figure is styled in the outfit she wore to the annual Diplomatic Reception in December 2022, the first of King Charles III’s reign.

Anna Valentine, one of Camilla’s favourite designers, recreated the elegant midnight blue gown especially. READ MORE: Join the FREE Manchester Evening News WhatsApp community The figure’s striking accessories immortalise the touching tributes the former Duchess made to honour Queen Elizabeth II on that night, including beautifully crafted replicas of the late Queen’s Belgian Sapphire Tiara and matching George VI Sapphire necklace, a wedding gift from her father, King George VI, in 1947.
