King Charles is "much calmer" thanks to having his wife, Camilla, Queen Consort by his side, a royal expert said. As his coronation fast approaches, King Charles could be feeling "anxious" ahead of the huge historical event, despite being in training for years and knowing he was heir to the throne since he was just three years old.
In 1952, his mother, Elizabeth II acceded to the throne - making him the heir apparent, a huge position to hold at such a young age.
And while preparations and rehearsals are in full swing, on the day of his coronation, King Charles will be alongside his wife, Camilla, Queen Consort who will be there to support him as she often is.
Historian, writer and broadcaster Tessa Dunlop spoke exclusively to OK! about King Charles and said: “Some people never find their perfect partner and he did, just within an imperfect situation".
