It was a heartwarming way to mark what would have been the late Queen's 97th birthday. But Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children were noticeably missing from the intimate snap of the late monarch with her great-grandchildren, released on 21 April. The photograph was taken by Kate Middleton at the Queen’s Balmoral home last summer - just weeks before Her Majesty passed away in September.
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet were not in the photograph as Harry and Meghan chose not to make the trip to the Queen’s Scottish residence.
According to The Telegraph, the Sussexes might decide to release one of their own family photos showing Archie and Lillibet with the late Queen.
OK! has contacted the Sussexes for comment. Both of the children were able to meet their great-grandmother before she died, as described by Harry in his bombshell memoir Spare.
