CBS series NCIS, and its two offshoots NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans, once again failed to secure a single nod. The wildly popular Mark Harmon-led drama was completely ignored by Emmy voters during its pivotal 18th season.
Although his ex-team leader Leroy Gibbs will be returning in a limited capacity in the next instalment, the latest outing was regarded as a swan song of sorts for the long-running star.
Despite pulling in millions of viewers throughout November 2020 to May 2021, CBS's flagship NCIS series wasn't listed in a single category for this year's Emmy awards.
