A man and a woman have been arrested after a one-month-old baby was found dead. Thames Valley Police has launched a murder investigation following the death of the baby in Newbury, Berkshire.
Officers were called to the scene by paramedics at around 1.50am on Saturday after reports of a child in cardiac arrest. Colby Stroud, who was born on April 10, was taken to hospital but later died.
A post-mortem was carried out yesterday but the cause of death is not currently known. Officers today arrested a 26-year-old man and 24-year-old woman from Newbury on suspicion of murder.
