The Ukrainian photographer was found dead in a disused building where a photography studio launch party had reportedly taken place.
Galina Karatsiuba, 35, was attending the opening in the abandoned factory along with dozens of other guests when the tragedy occurred.
Some partygoers in Kharkiv said she was taking pictures and stumbled into an unsecured lift shaft falling some 40ft to her death.But state prosecutors opened a premeditated murder case into the death of Karatsiuba, who was well known for her glamour and erotically charged snaps.Authorities did not.
