The family of a BBC star are believed to be the victims of a suspected crossbow murder. John Hunt, a racing commentator for BBC Five Live, reportedly came home from work to find his wife and two daughters "shot dead". Despite medics' best efforts, all three, aged 25, 28 and 61, were tragically later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have confirmed that the suspect of a horrific crossbow massacre that saw three women murdered has been found in a cemetery yards from his home.

BBC Five Live racing commentator John Hunt reportedly returned home from work on Tuesday evening to discover his two daughters and wife had been brutally attacked. The three women aged 25, 28 and 61 were found seriously injured - and subsequently pronounced dead at the scene, reports the Mirror.

BBC staff have issued a statement following the news of 5 Live presenter John Hunt's family, as his wife and daughter's are believed to be victims of a triple crossbow murder, which they described "utterly devastating." The organisation said they would provide the racing commentator with “all the support we can” following the deaths of his wife and two daughters, 25 and 28.The note to BBC 5 Live staff read: “The news today about John Hunt’s family is utterly devastating. Our thoughts are with John and his family at this incredibly difficult time and we will provide him with all the support we can.” A manhunt has since been launched for 26 year old Kyle Clifford, following the attack that took place in Ashlyn Close Tuesday evening (9 July).
