Man, 20, found dead in street with car overturned nearby as police launch murder probe

A 20-year-old man has been found dead  after an alleged street attack with a car found overturned nearby. Police have launched a murder probe in Thame, Oxfordshire.

At around 7.05pm on Wednesday the man was found with injuries in Chinnor Road before being pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and will be supported by specialist teams, Thames Valley Police have said.

Police would like to speak to a group of young men who were seen in the area at the time of the incident. Senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Mike Roddy of the Major Crime Unit, said he is aware that a number of people may have seen what happened and potentially filmed it.
