Mum quits job to make £1,000 a week as a delivery driver – and chooses her own hours

job after discovering she can earn a staggering £1,000 per week from her former side hustle. Atlanta Martin, 21 from West Sussex had worked as a flight dispatcher before deciding to pick up a second job in July 2019.

She chose delivery driv ing, which she could fit conveniently around her hours at Gatwick Airport, where she worked. However, she soon realised how lucrative her side hustle could be.

deciding after two years to quit her day job.Atlanta, from Worthing, can now earn up to a grand a week by doing 11-hour days.The young mum can now fund a lavish lifestyle that others only dream of - with the 21-year old having recently jetted off on a trip to Disney World in Florida.Atlanta said: "I'm really happy I made the decision to do this job full-time."With delivering, I can choose my own hours, work as much as I wish too and earn the same money or more!"It was a risk as delivering is self-employed and the money is not guaranteed, but I have no regrets and it is working really well!"Atlanta discovered she could rake in the extra cash while on maternity leave.She said: "I worked there for three and a half years but I have a daughter who is coming up to three years old."The hours I had to work and the shift pattern was not flexible enough at the airport.

I started delivering whilst on my maternity leave as an extra form of income."Thanks to the flexibility of delivering, I found I could work the hours I wanted to around my daughter."I started posting videos of me delivering on my social media which did really well so I decided to leave my full time job so I could pursue delivering and growing my social media channels."Since ditching the airport job, Atlanta has spent long hours delivering in her car for Just Eat, Uber.
